Two Centres of Excellence, divisions of the New Brunswick Community College, are available in the Madawaska region. The Atlantic Centre of Excellence in Tourism in Edmundston offers a variety of on-site programs as well as distance education and cyber learning as a means of establishing an international standard of excellence in tourism in the Atlantic region.
In Grand Falls, the Centre of Excellence in Agriculture and Biotechnological Sciences (CEABS) also offers several training programs in agriculture and biotechnology.
